John Stockel

John leads Deepwatch’s corporate development and strategy efforts. He works across finance, operations, and everything that falls under the corporate development umbrella.

John previously was a Vice President at ABS Capital, a leading growth equity firm, where he has spent the last 6 years supporting its cybersecurity, physical security, and data-centric technology and tech-enabled services investment efforts. Select investments include deepwatch, GuidePoint Security, SquadLocker, and Alula. Select exits include iZotope (merged with Native Instruments / Francisco Partners), INTTRA (acquired by E2Open / Insight), IgnitionOne (acquired by Zeta Global), and Alarm.com (IPO – ALRM:NASDAQ GS).

John holds an MSc in Finance from City, University of London and a BS from Salisbury University.
